Hi, I’m Terra brooks.
I am a 28-year-old bookish-obsessed dog mom of two, and I would say my life has been far from average. Working as a Creator Manager for TikTok has been a wild journey, connecting to so many amazing individuals within the BookTok world. Always chasing my dreams, I love to find love and hope deep within the pages of a book, where worlds are richer than life itself. Of Ash & Moonlight is currently my debut novel, coming soon!
My Approach
I am heavily inspired by human experiences, finding one’s self, and the road through earning your grit. My stories dance alongside popular tropes, but bend the rules the way the world does.
Worldbuilding
Each world I craft is unique to the story, subtly layered in, and immersive. My motto: if it doesn’t look like a Netflix movie in your head, I have done something wrong.
Cast of characters
One of my favorite parts of writing is building out the entire ensemble cast. I favor found-family concepts where the side characters are just as real as the main one.
And of course, the main male character will always include a twist.
